Season one, volume one

Here it is. The blog you didn't even know you needed to read. Welcome to my cartel of chicas. The name is Stephanie Cantarero, and I am here to bring some inspiration and Honduran flavor your way. I indulge in a myriad of different endeavors, writing being one of them. I hope this blog finds you, and within the blog, you are able to find inspiration or something you can identify with. As for the content, I'll post looks, political rants, and life tips on how to be a thriving being. As you can clearly see by the opening of this post, I am currently located in Orlando, Florida. But when the college semester starts up again, I'll be back in the lovely city of New York.  I am currently a business student and a soccer player for my college(for what that's worth).  
I also, believe quick generic facts don't sum up the 'about me' portion of my blog(or for anyone for that matter, because everyone is so much more than a couple of titles or achievements). But since this is my first post, I will go ahead and kind of let you readers dive into my mind by telling you what truly inspires me. That being movement. And really, one can find movement everywhere: In the silent movement of leaves, or the hustle of people in the morning, or the speed the sun sets. This morning, I was watching this little ant, who was looking for some food to bring back to his colony. I followed him with my eyes as he went back and forth with utter determination. He would stop to nod heads with fellow ants, and keep moving. He scoured the area and was desperately searching every corner he could see. I handed him a little crumb off my pan dulce, and watch him scamper off quickly back home. I couldn't help but smile. The relentless determination this minuscule creature has is far much greater than mine. I as well, am nothing but another mere person trying to play my part for my 'colony'. I understand that like the ant, I am also searching. But DAMN this little ant has more willpower than I do and darling THAT is humbling. Point of the story: I found a lil inspo in an ant.
